Bob Livingston
During the Monica Lewinsky scandal, Louisiana Representative Robert Livingston was one of many Republicans who demanded President Clinton's resignation and later impeachment. Following Newt Gingrich's resignation in 1998 (read about Newt Gingrich's infidelity here), Livingston was elected by the Republican-led house to be the new Speaker, before admitting to marital infidelity himself and resigning from Congress. He was succeeded by David Vitter, who was also found guilty of illicit activity years later.
